Runding Process Analysis Methodology provides a framework for validation, assessment and recommendations to improve Project Controls Systems. Our experienced industry consultants recognize process definition is often the first part of a larger project controls initiative. It is important that work developed in this effort is of high quality and is efficiently leveraged in the following Phases:
| Validation
The reasons behind the initiative and the objectives of the project controls solution need to be validated. It is important to understand the strategic objectives in order to define effective project controls processes. Runding provides leadership and documentation in defining the objectives of the implementation process.
Assessment
After the Validation process is completed the framework is further organized into Major Processes. An example of a Major Process would be “Procurement Management”. Each Major Process will have its own requirements, Process Overview Diagram and Bench Marking Score Card. Runding ensures the Major Processes are evaluated and documented as to its effectiveness in meeting the requirements, how it compares to industry best practices and how it aligns with the overall strategic vision.
Recommendations
With the status properly assessed the recommendation process begins. Using experience from many years of implementing project controls and industry best practices the team provides visual and written recommendations for the implementation. All processes go through an internal “Process Review Board” to critically evaluate the solution to ensure it meets the requirements with the most efficient and effective solution possible. Once agreed upon, Runding provides clear and visual documentation to reflect the go-forward process.
