Our History
Runding is your trusted partner in Project Controls consulting, with over 20 years of experience and a robust network within the industry. Founded in 2002, we initially focused on architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) project controls. Today, we’ve evolved into a multi-platform, full-stack project controls developer serving clients worldwide.
Founded – Trimble Practice
John Sinift and Maria Hedman founded Runding focused on business process consulting for the construction industry leveraging Trimble’s new Proliance Project Controls system.
Incorporated
Formally incorporated and onboarded additional business consultants focused on process engineering to the construction industry.
Solution Admin (Maintenance Contracts)
Recognizing a need to take the hassle out of maintaining project controls systems, Runding developed subscription services enabling customers to reduce cost to and update their systems.
Technical Capacity
Until this time runding was business process focused. As customer needs became more complex, Runding created a dedicated technical team, focused on building integrations and light custom applications.

Runding Data Tools 'rDT' Suite
Runding develops multiple extension ‘apps’ for Kahua including the flagship rSchedule bringing in powerful data from P6 and MPP directly into the Kahua ecosystem.
OpenBuild Goes Live
Microsoft practice evolves into the OpenBuild product suite. Introduced the Open Framework Concept, offering a flexible, modular approach based on our many years of real-world experience and business process consulting.
